The origin of the name Quinta do Roncão

Roncão: adj. he/she who snores

For generations, our most treasured vineyard has been named this peculiar name due to the noisy cascades that run through it. 

In 2001, when the family met to decide the brand of the wines to be produced, it came as a  consensus to use this designation.
