Dona Benilde Grand Reserva White 2020
Our first release was made with the best grapes of the farm, coming from vineyards in a field blend with the main varieties Malvasia Fina, Rabigato e Fernão Pires, aged in a single barrel of 250 litres with com lees batonagge for 6 months, followed by 18 months barrel ageing, resulting in 300 bottles.
Deep aromas of stone fruit, honey, brioche and sweet spices. Full and unctuous with good oak presence, great acidity and bitter tones in the end.
Dona Benilde Grande Reserva Tinto 2022
Our second reference was carefully selected from the best grapes of our farm from vineyards planted in a field blend with the main varieties Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Barca, Tinta Amarela and Mourisco. Fermented in our open fermenters for about 10 days with foot stomping. Aged in two new barrels of 250 litres for 26 months, resulting in 666 bottles.
Bright ruby colour. The nose is filled with sweet aromas of vanilla and dark fruits, blueberry, blackberry, hints of dark chocolate and some freshness from wild lavender. The mouth is peppery and savoury. The aromas follow through in the palate, presenting a full body wine with firm tannins. Ends velvety with notes of coffee and dark chocolate.
